We are a small family run business based in the Tenterden, Kent area. At Tenterden Timber Buildings, we provide high quality Timber Buildings with as little hassle as possible to our clients. It is my priority to deliver a project that exceeds our customers’ expectations and provide an honest and straight forward service with no surprises or hidden costs.

We specialise in Timber Framed and Oak buildings, including but not limited to:

Our main speciality is Oak Frame buildings, however; you will see from our photo gallery we have taken on many other forms of work in the past. This was especially the case during COVID 19 – as we prioritized outdoor work over other internal projects. 


I started my career as a Carpenter working for a high end building company delivering traditional homes and buildings across Kent and Sussex. Working my way through the ranks, I ended up managing multi-million pound projects and running teams of contractors and tradesmen. With a growing family and fed up with the stress of the bigger jobs, I set up my own building business in 2016. Since then we have streamlined our business to be as efficient and smooth as possible with a history of happy customers.

To achieve a smooth project with happy customers we follow a few very simple rules:
* We don’t compromise on our own standard or British building practices to lower the budget.
* We tend to only work on one project at a time, as this allows me to be fully committed to 
my clients needs and design.
* If the job requires extra help – I like to only use subcontractors that we have worked with 
before and hold high standards and reliability. This keeps efficiency high and ensures we use 
the right men for the right job.
* We don’t compromise on the materials that we use.
* We make sure that we are conscientious to protect and respect your property, privacy and 
work as cleanly as we can.
